The City will be holding a public information centre on the “Highest and Best Land Use” study of airport lands, which is currently underway. This public information centre is scheduled for October 7 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the RCAFA Club at 200 Hampton Gray Gate at the airport.
The consultants, Explorer Solutions, are seeking public input on the best use of 6 parcels of airport lands. In addition to the public information centre, the City is placing an on-line survey on our “Get Involved” web page, seeking engagement from residents as the consultant starts to develop possible land use scenarios. The survey will be posted next week and remain open until October 30.
A second public information centre will be held once the consultant has compiled the findings and developed the concept plans. This second public meeting is anticipated to take place before year end.
