Cruickshank Construction is seeking to expand their quarry operations at the Quarry located just west of Elginburg on Unity Rd. In order for this expansion to take place, the applicant (Cruickshank) must have zoning bylaw approval and an Official Plan amendment made, as well as license approval from the provincial government.
The first public meeting took place on February 19, 2015, however, an additional Public Meeting is required for this application because the original application did not identify the existing quarry as being subject to the application to amend the zoning by-law.

The Planning Committee will consider a comprehensive report and recommendation from the Planning Division, respecting the subject applications, at a future meeting. The Committee will make its recommendation to City Council at that meeting. The decision of City Council will be final unless appealed. All persons who made oral or written submissions, or have requested notification in writing, will be given written notice of the future meeting(s) of the Planning Committee at which the subject applications will be considered.
