It is important for us to gather once or twice a year to meet in person and share in conversation around a few of the key items and issues across our large and diverse district.
At this meeting you can expect:
- Mayor Paterson to bring updates on the Third Crossing and on other city-wide projects.
- Parks Canada will share information about the upcoming bridge work and improvements at Kingston Mills Locks.
- Strategic Communications from the City of Kingston will be asking how the municipality can improve consultation and information sharing with rural residents. This is tied to the Engagement Strategy work already underway.
I hope you and your neighbours will join us to talk about our community and the important work being done to put Countryside on the map and in the minds of Kingstonians. Registration isn't required, but you can let me know you are going to join the conversation by signing up here.
Share your input on important issues for Countryside, such as drainage, roads maintenance, or improving the role of agriculture in our local food system.
